SUMMARY OF THE MEETING WITH SPASTICS SOCIETY PRESIDENT

 Dear members,

We had a meeting with an organisation by the name Spastics society in Surat.The following are the points that we discussed over :

1) Collaborate to achieve a mission 

2) Work together to get a greater response from the society.

3) Deal with NGO's who work on same or similar platform.

4) And tried to extract as many contacts as possible which can support Parivartann and its activities.

A] Trying to work over issues related with with environment.

B] Also working together for the cause of educating & providing vocational training to retarded people above the age of 16 years.

C] Have asked for support for carrying out activities in thane, and had talk with Thane rotary President.

D] Promotion of our products/merchandise like calendar ,notebooks, scribble Pads, Note pads,etc. ( They will manufacture it via their organisation and we will promote/market it at all India level.)

E] Talks are in motion with RPG Foundation with Head HR (C.S.R) for carrying out an event in collaboration. This will be the first time we will work with a corporate group.

                                        SUPPORT FOR THE CAUSE

i] Members who are willing to teach to children's from less fortunate class can reply us via e-mail,with their preferred location .

ii] We are coming up with a website very soon, we need interested members who can do the job of updating site on regular basis .

iii] We will be launching our first nation wide magazine. Members interested can give articles,photographs,cartoons for the same by 15th April (via e-mail) .The theme of the magazine is "IRRESPONSIBILITY".

Summary of Parivartann Members Meeting at Surat.

Dear member,

This was the first meeting held with Parivartann members of Surat city.The major points of discussion were as follows:

1) Awareness regarding waste disposal: Basic problem is collection and sorting of waste,to overcome we can avoid disposing waste in open areas and use dust bins where ever available. Apart from that try and make people aware to keep public places neat and clean.

2) Making of paper bags from newspaper collected from SVNIT, hostels and other nearby residential areas.

3) Promoting Parivartann merchandise like notebooks,key chains,t-shirts ,wrist band, college bags and etc.

4) Working to make SVNIT a plastic free zone.

5) Trying to take a lead in teaching children's from less fortunate class and helping them with vocational training programs as well.

6) Launching of Parivartann's first nationwide magazine. (Give articles,photographs,sketches,cartoons with respect to magazines theme "IRRESPONSIBILITY").

7) Coming up with ideas to link up with Radio interviews in Pune, Baroda and Surat.
